The Captain is one of my first paintings I did in oil. It’s on lightweight, 3/4” canvas, that’s ready to hang unframed.

Although I’m a Red Sox fan, Derek Jeter was one of my favorite players to watch. He was always clutch and the heart and soul of the Yankees for years. ‘The Flip’ is one of the best plays I’ve ever seen in any sport. Amazing!

I met him once in Tampa, Florida. I told him I was a Sox fan, but I was a big fan of his. He said, “That’s good.” Shook my hand and that was it. Nice guy.
