In mid-April 2000, Tom Brady was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 6th round of the NFL draft. The story goes that he told the owner, Bob Kraft: “Hi, I'm Tom Brady. And I’m the best decision this organization has ever made." Brady later corrected the quote saying, "I didn’t say that, for the record. He doesn’t remember as well as I do. I remember saying, 'You’ll never regret picking me.'“ Either way, the GOAT was chosen in the 2nd to last round - pick 199 out of 254.
